Few lawyers are well versed in the strategies required for successful representation before an Administrative law Judge. Whether you are defending your case before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) in New York City or before the Office of Administrative Hearings the way you present your case can make all the difference.

What is OATH?

Oath stands for the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings. OATH is New York City's independent administrative law court which means it is separate from the state court system. The Hearings Division is the division of OATH that is responsible for holding hearings on summonses issued by a variety of agencies. The Trials Division is the division of OATH that monitors administrative trials and proceedings which are most similar to civil trials without a jury.
